In this episode of the radmoney podcast we dig deep into:

Battling different money management styles

Earning interest from a High Yield Savings Account is the easiest way to start earning passive income. Yet only 82% of Americans are benefiting from having one of these accounts!
In a High Yield Savings Account you could be earning between 4-5% interest on your savings. That's more than $600/year on a $15,000 Emergency Fund.
While that's not going to make you rich. It's more than that savings account you got when you opened your checking account.

Talking about personal vices, like how much we drink, is taboo enough.
But asking someone how much they spend on their drinking? That's a whole 'nother level of real talk.
Most people aren't too eager to know how much they spend on things they're not exactly proud of...
From beer and wine to drugs and clubs. If you're not honest about how much you spend on these things, you're setting yourself up for failure.
🙅‍♂️🙅‍♀️ Most financial experts would never talk to you about this. That's exactly why we knew we had to.

In this week's episode of the radmoney podcast we share about
Our Beer Money Savings Challenge
Dealing with an Identity Crisis - "Am I a 'Heavy Drinker'?"

When we decided to get serious about our finances, pay off our debt and reach Financial Freedom - we had no idea the benefits it would bring to our marriage!

Of course there were the obvious benefits that motivated us to protect our marriage. Less stress, fewer arguments and having the freedom to travel more.

But what we didn’t know was how learning to work together toward a challenging goal was going to help our marriage not just survive, but thrive!

What we realized much later was that through the process we cultivated Financial Intimacy in our relationship. Rather than financial issues being something that pushed us apart, it brought us together. All the while building trust, learning to communicate effectively, and other “soft skills” necessary to reach financial goals.
Financial Intimacy helps you connect with your spouse
Financial Intimacy and reaching Financial Freedom
Getting through challenges
